Daily Care

• Stalls cleaned daily
• Fed twice a day, every day grass hay grown right here on the property, plus Hubbard
• Cool Command, a low-sugar, low-starch feed
• Want a different feed, or to bring your own? No problem a small surcharge applies for
• special feed we source, or you’re welcome to supply your own at no extra charge
• Medications administered as directed
• Supplements fed on request

Turnout

Turnout is offered as weather and footing allow for your horse’s safety, we don’t turn out on ice.

Farrier Care

A farrier visits every six weeks for trims and shoeing, or you may bring in
your own farrier. Shoes are available if you’d like them they support the hoof so it doesn’t crack as it grows longer, and they protect the sole from stone bruises.

Veterinary Care

We work closely with a local equine veterinary hospital just a few miles
away. They know the barn and come whenever they’re called.

Add-On / Specialty Care

• Stallions: welcomed if well-behaved; a surcharge applies
• Broodmares: in-foal mares receive the extra care needed to carry a foal full term
• Geriatric horses: experienced senior horse care (our current record-holder is 38 and going strong)
• All ages: yearlings, young horses, and everything in between
