BOARDING POLICIES & WHAT TO EXPECT

How Boarding Works Here

Step 1 — Come Visit

Before anything else, come see the barn in person. We’ll walk
through everything together and make sure it’s the right fit for you and your horse.

Step 2 — The Contract

If it’s a good fit, we’ll sign a boarding contract so you know exactly what I provide, and I know exactly what’s expected of you. No surprises on either
side.

Step 3 — Health Requirements

Horses need to be current on vaccinations and have a recent negative Coggins test on arrival. If those aren’t current, we’ll get them tested right
away and keep your horse in quarantine for a couple of weeks until results are back — this protects every horse already at the barn, including yours down the road.

Bringing Your Own Vet or Farrier

We have a close relationship with a local equine veterinary hospital, but you’re welcome to use your own vet if you prefer. Same goes for farrier care.
